Sound Recording Labor Agreement
Expiration January 31st, 2026 – February 4, 2026 rates extended to July 31st, 2026
The Sound Recording Labor Agreement (SRLA) is negotiated between the American Federation of Musicians (AFM)and major record labels, including Sony, Warner, and Universal. This agreement establishes the minimum fees and working conditions for musicians performing on music recordings in the United States and Canada. These recordings may be used for the production of:
- Phonographic Records (vinyl, digital audio files, CDs, streaming platforms)
- Covered Concert DVDs
- On-Camera Sideline Work for music videos or concerts
