General Theatre Agreement (GTA)

Effective Date: September 1st, 2025

The General Theatre Agreement sets out the minimum terms and conditions for musicians working on live theatrical productions not covered by another TMA agreement. Musicians may negotiate higher terms than those contained within.

The GTA contains:

• Minimum hours (performance/rehearsals)
• Minimum rates
• Overtime and additional payments
• Musician’s roles and responsibilities
• Working conditions
• Holidays
