2025 TMA149 Community Builder of the Year Award Recipient

Aysanabee has an incredible career growth worldwide in the last few years and has consciously made decisions based on how he can best serve his community.  He broke the ceiling as an Indigenous artist in 2024 with his historical JUNO wins in the alternative music and songwriter categories, which further fuelled his desire to cultivate more space for Indigenous Artists.  He has he collaborated with such artists musically, elevated online, and participates at schools both in community and around reservations. In 2025 as he embarked on his first headline tour, invited local Indigenous artists from every stop to share the stage and open the show.
